Project Sunshine provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children and families facing medical challenges. With a dynamic and dedicated corps of over 15,000 volunteers, we bring programming —recreational (arts), educational (tutoring and mentoring) and social service (HIV and nutritional counseling) —to 100,000 children facing medical challenges and their families in 175 major cities across the United States and in four international locations.


SHAPE is a program of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) in partnership with the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University that teaches a facilitation-based comprehensive sexual health curriculum at local Providence high schools. SHAPE strives to create an environment in which high school students can engage in accurate, authentic, and honest conversations about sexuality and sexual health. Through SHAPE, Brown volunteers facilitate workshops where students can learn about and discuss topics related to sexual health and sexuality in an open setting.


The Miracle Project is a fully inclusive theatre, film, and expressive arts program for children, teens, and adults with autism and all abilities. Using groundbreaking and evidence-based methods developed by our award-winning founder, Elaine Hall, The Miracle Project focuses on the strengths and abilities inherent in its participants, providing tools to build communication, social skills, job skills, and friendships while developing a unique neurodiverse community.
