Work Sites

In addition to its national-level policy research and technical assistance to funders and other organizations, AISR works in many specific sites across the country. In some of these sites we support local community or district initiatives; in others, the site is part of a state, regional, or national initiative. Currently, we are working in the following sites.

AISR provides technical support to Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, one of seven planning grant recipients under the Nellie Mae Education Foundation’s (NMEF) District Level Systems Change (DLSC) initiative.
Under the Nellie Mae Education Foundation’s District Level Systems Change (DLSC) initiative, AISR provides technical support for two Opportunity Fund grantees that engage in youth organizing for education reform. AISR also supports the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation’s New Day for Learning team in Providence.
AISR provides technical support to district leaders, family members, educators, and community members in the Randolph Public School district, working to establish a “Randolph Public Learning Community."

San Jose (CA) Unified School District is one of five sites where AISR supports the development of College Readiness Indicator Systems (CRIS).
