Jonathan D. Seamans
Jonathan Seamans serves as chief operating officer for the Institute. In this capacity, he oversees the primary areas of operations at the Annenberg Institute: budget and finance, human resources, facilities, and technology. Prior to joining the Annenberg Institute, he served as the assistant director for Administration and Finance at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf. While at the School, he served on the Finance, Building, and Policy committees, was a member of the Rhode Island Association of School Business Officials, and is a Rhode Island Certified School Business Administrator. In prior positions, Mr. Seamans worked at the Rhode Island Department of Health as a financial administrator, and in the Rhode Island State Budget Office as a budget analyst. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Clarkson University, and an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. In addition, he is an alumnus of the Delta II Class of Leadership Rhode Island. Currently, he is Mayor Scott Avedisian’s appointee to the Warwick Charter Review Commission, focusing on the school department and the authority of the school committee.
